Wacky Wallscapes creates fun, exciting, and very high quality wall coverings, wallpaper and murals for children‘s areas. Fred Hemmer - President of Wacky Wallscapes

Fred Hemmer - President

Fred has a diverse background in finance, real estate and commercial art. Prior to Wacky Wallscapes, he was President of a commercial arts studio where he became acquainted with Bryan Barry, and prior to that he was Senior Executive Vice President and a director of Republic Bank in St. Petersburg, Florida.

He is also a director at Flagship Community Bank in Clearwater, Florida and a graduate from the University of South Florida where he majored in accounting.

For ten years Bryan Barry was the shop manager for a commercial arts studio in Oldsmar, Florida. Bryan was in charge of the large themed custom projects that the company produced. He came up with the idea of reproducing the fun and exciting artwork that was being designed on a wall cover material, in a high resolution format so that everyone could enjoy this artwork.

Bryan knew he had to find a material that was durable enough to hold up in high traffic areas such as hallways and classrooms and after a year of research and testing, he found the perfect product. He helped to compile the Wacky Wallscapes library of high-resolution artwork and developed a product that fits everyone‘s budget and wall application needs. Wacky Wallscapes products now appear in hundreds of churches, hospitals and daycare centers throughout the United States and abroad.


Yolanda Naves - Creative Designer for Wacky Wallscpaes

Yolanda Nave - Creative Designer

Yolanda joined the Wallscapes team in 2006. An internationally published author/illustrator of humorous books for children and adults, she was also the creator of greeting card lines for American Greetings and Recycled Paper Greetings. Her professional background includes an apprenticeship at one of Nashville‘s premier ad agencies. Yolanda‘s books were published by Workman, Orchard, and Bloomsbury USA, and excerpted in Cosmo and Mademoiselle.

Her work has also appeared in Ladybug magazine and For Laughing Out Louder, a compilation of children‘s poems selected by Jack Prelutsky. Yolanda combines her creative experience with her passion for cartooning to design whimsical wallscapes for "the best clients in the world."
